TANGO aims to ensure save truck driving by managing the vigilance of the driver and to create additional value to the driver and his transport company by enabling (productive) secondary tasks. Developmental outcome is a user-proven prototype of an AAA (“Attention and Activity Assistant”) and evaluated methods to reach a good User Experience by user centered design process.

… requirements from truck drivers and other stakeholders were identified
… low fidelity prototypes were created and discussed with drivers
… mid fidelity protoypes were simulated and evaluated in laboratory user tests
… high fidelity prototypes were built and tested with drivers in realistic surrounding
results
