Effective driving education should take care about current changes in society, e.g. increasing relevance of sustainability, digitalization and driver assistance systems, as well as cohort effects of individual needs and values in each new generation.
process
In an iterative, user centered design process…
… requirements from young adults and other stakeholders were identified
… low fidelity prototypes were created and discussed with young adults
… mid fidelity protoypes were simulated and evaluated in user tests
results
The project transfers the user-centered product design process to the user-centered development of the current driving education in Germany in order to enhance the customer experience and the effectiveness of driver education and licensing.
